As you may or may not be aware it is a legal requirement that under the Machinery Directive, European Standard EN12341 to 1:2003, that all power operated and automatic doors must be subject to a controlled, regular maintenance and service procedure with emphasis on the safety features such as bottom safe edges and safety beams

Preventative maintenance is not only a legal requirement but can prove to be cost effective too.  After each service is carried out a concise report will be submitted back to yourselves detailing each door individually.  It is in this document that we will bring to light any repair recommendations.  It is also at this stage potential problems with the running of the door can be highlighted and eliminated before they are escalated thus causing a full brake down of the door, which will in turn result in ‘down time’ and repair costs.
